Brazil: Possible Paths Towards Economic Justice Report (in Portuguese)

On October 27, 2021, the Columbia Global Centers - Rio de Janeiro and the Center on Global Economic Governance (CGEG) co-hosted the event "Brazil: Possible paths towards Economic Justice", in which Brazilian academics and experts discussed economic policy alternatives – and their fiscal and political feasibility – capable of simultaneously promoting economic growth and greater social equity in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period in Brazil, with an emphasis on reform and expansion of social protection networks. CGEG Director Jan Svejnar gave the introductory remarks and co-hosted the event.
