Jan Svejnar discusses the Outcome of the Greek Referendum with Fusion

With the majority having voted "No" on Sunday, July 5th,  many fear the worsening of economic conditions and an increase in unemployment in the times ahead. Svejnar, however, believes the younger Greeks may have been right to vote as they did, as it allows for the possibility for Greece to stop using the Euro. Although this may be difficult at first, the switch from the Euro to its own currency could mean a growth in exports and tourism, opening up opportunities for the younger generation.
