Please join the Center on Global Economic Governance at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, the Alliance Program at Columbia University, and the French Embassy's cultural services for a talk by Jean-Marc Ayrault. This will be followed by an audience Q&A moderated by Jan Svejnar, James T. Shotwell Professor of Global Political Economy and Director of the Center on Global Economic Governance. 

Welcoming remarks will be given by Merit E. Janow, Dean of the School of International and Public Affairs and Professor of Professional Practice in International Economic Law and International Affairs. 

French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development since February 2016, Jean-Marc Ayrault was the Prime Minster of France from 2012 to 2014. A long standing high-profile public figure in France, he has also been Deputy at the National Assembly since 1986 and was Mayor of Nantes for over twenty years.
