This high-level discussion welcomed Brune Poirson, French Secretary of State to the Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, and Laurence Tubiana, CEO of the European Climate Foundation, to discuss the One Planet Summit with notable guests Karin Finkelston of the International Finance Corporation and Betrand Badre of Blue Like an Orange Sustainable Capital and Columbia professors Joseph Stiglitz and Scott Barrett. Jan Svejnar, Director of the Center on Global Economic Governance at SIPA, moderated the discussion, inviting the guests and faculty to share their views on the progress and next steps for achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Merit E. Janow, Dean of Columbia SIPA.
