Jose Antonio Ocampo

Co-President of the Initiative for Policy Dialogue at Columbia University

Dr. José Antonio Ocampo is Professor and Director of the Economic and Political Development Concentration in the School of International and Public Affairs, Member of the Committee on Global Thought. He is also Chair of the Committee for Development Policy of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). He has occupied numerous positions at the United Nations and his native Colombia, including UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and Minister of Finance, Minister of Agriculture and Direction of the National Planning Office of Colombia. [MORE]

Marcos Troyjo

Co-Director of the BRICLab at Columbia University, Founder of the Center for Business Diplomacy 

Dr.Marcos Troyjo is co-founder and of co-director of BRICLab, a Forum on Brazil, Russia, India and China at Columbia University, where he teaches international affairs. He is a lecturer in the graduate programs at IBMEC University, a Visiting Professor at the Centre d`Études sur l`Actuel et le Quotidien, Université Paris Descartes (Sorbonne), and a member of the International Schumpeter Society. He worked as a career diplomat and was Press Secretary at the Brazilian Mission to the United Nations in New York and Chief of Staff of the Science and Technology Department of Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Professor Troyjo is also the president and founder of the Center for Business Diplomacy, a global advisory firm. [MORE]
