This program features an address by Former United States Secretary of State, The Honorable Madeleine K. Albright, commemorating Václav Havel as an intellectual, leader, and agent of change and how his legacy continues to play an important role in today’s current global landscape. Followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
The event will also feature a dedication of the bust of Václav Havel by artist Marie Seborova which is being donated to Columbia University by Joseph Balaz and the Václav Havel Library Foundation.
